The Eagle Camera Club was established on May 16, 2008. The club started as a simple result of kindness. Bill was kind enough to take time out of this night to help Eric with a shoot one evening. We’ve all been around photographers whose ego’s got in the way. Bill is not one of those photographers.
Our Mission
The mission of the Eagle Camera Club is to provide an environment where photographers of all degrees of experience can learn from one another and share their art and experience with the community of Eagle.
Where we are at right now…
We are actively seeking founding members who are interested in helping set the foundation for an ongoing community organization. We are seeking meeting space. Like anything else, we will have to start small and grow. My initial hopes are that we can start meeting on a monthly basis in downtown Eagle. I’d like to set it get to the point where we take quarterly or bi-yearly “field trips” out and about to photograph various things around the area. Eventually I envision a club that holds highly respected yearly awards and a club that contributes to the learning of the craft by youth in our area.
